LETTER OF INTENT
William T. S.
North Prescidio Avenue
Casa Grande, Arizona
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter in regards to the position being offered to the public through your
advertisement. I am highly interested in this employment for I am an avid supporter of community
relations as well as the customer service industry. I have many years approximately in these
fields, through employment in the grocery retail, “fast food”, and hardware/lumber industry, as well as
through local, educational sectors throughout the state of Arizona.
I have always been the man that these past companies and educational institutions ask to
become the speaker, or officer, that they turn to when it comes to customer and public relations.
They know that my personality wins the public over through my intelligence, friendliness,
frankness, and overall goodnatured demeanor. I can get any point across to the public, and I am neither
embarrassed through public speaking nor outside, quality performances.
In my previous employments, I was, not only the Customer Service Representative for my
work and/or school, but also the Public Relations Officer, or “Goto guy,” for necessary
interactions between faculty, staff, parents, coworkers, and communities that may have been
involved with any request made by my superiors. I know how to effectively communicate with a
wide range of people, nationalities, and cultures.
I am very efficient in working independently on many assignments, tasks, or
projects. I can evaluate insufficient problems, come up with interesting and productive solutions,
and act on those decisions with negligible supervision. I can also undertake a ‘Team Leader’ role
when I am paired up with a group of people for a common goal or project. I gather all ideas from
everyone involved and can come up with a consensus from the majority on the best course of
action to take to accomplish that set goal. I assign duties that best ascertain the wisest result and
act on that course for the company’s benefaction.
As for the relation to office, secretarial, or administrative assistant duties, my
qualifications for this offered position are as follows:
I have knowledge of office managerial aspects when it comes to prioritizing various
workloads, organizing data sheets, and having an efficient work environment.
