work performance standards.  Assist in implementation of the day probationary training program.   Monitors completion of training for each post and reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.  Verify that subordinates are familiar with the post orders and specific post responsibilities.  Consequently, understand and train subordinates on various equipment, i.e., CCURE , OASIS, Nextel Communications, Land Line Phone System, Scream Alarm/Intercom System, Duress Buttons, Fire Alarm Monitoring, Elevator Control Panel, Package XRay System, Wand Touring System, and the OnSight Visitor Management System.  Advise and instruct Security Officers on how to improve job performances.  Prepare, submit and files detailed Incident Reports and other various reports as required.  Conduct key inventory upon assuming and being relieved and performing duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.   Monitors and controls all roving conducted on the shift.  Provide verbal and written turn over relief a completed shift turn over form, which verifies that each shift has completed and conducted a Gannett/USA Today Key Inventory.  Prohibit any adjustment to the Security Equipment/ Systems except as needed to modify, clarify or review an incident or communication without prior authorization from the Account Manager.  Assume immediate control and supervision of the Security Officers to ensure that we have coverage for each post in the absence of the Captain.  Address safety and security issues and attend Account Manager quarterly training meetings and local Securitas Area Trainer Supervisor Level training sessions.  Direct all escalating safety and security issues that could hinder the system monitoring/responses and direct to the Shift Captain, Assistant Account Manager and Account Manager, providing detailed verbal and written relieve.
