As a member of the Management Committee – responsible for developing
directions for the company as we explore acquisitions, jointventures,
mergers, and Greenfield expansion opportunities throughout the Americas.
Was the lead member of the due diligence and transition team for the
Calgary, Alberta Canada Ogden facility. Worked closely
with the union CAW to secure the concessions required to move ALSTOM
into the Ogden facility. Was a key member on the development and
proposal team for the BNSF/ALSTOM Alliance facility partnership.
Led the transition of the Alliance facility from BNSF operational control
to ALSTOM’s operational control. Worked closely with the
unions in Alliance to ensure the smooth introduction of ALSTOM technology
and management staff. Hired and trained ALSTOM management
and staff, wrote and introduced ALSTOM Service US policies and procedures,
and continue to support the operational needs of the facility.

of Programs and HR
Empowered by this global ERP
software company BPCS to standardize the hiring and recruitment effort
across the organization. Was responsible for the annual recruitment
budget for the company. Created progressive programs to improve
retention. Worked closely with the project managers to assign
the appropriate number of Manufacturing, Financial, ERP, and technical
consultants to the project to ensure we met the customer’s “Go Live”
date. Assigned consultants to projects in over countries and
hired as required to meet company and customer demands. Oversaw all
of the US regional offices and the corporate headquarters to ensure
legal compliance with all employment laws. Developed and implemented
policies and procedures which reduced SSA’s dependency on outside
agencies and lowered the company’s “cost per hire” and average
“time to fill”. Championed the global sourcing effort,
which allowed SSA to internalize its research and identify candidates
for each of its branch offices, which further reduced the company’s
dependency on outside agencies. As a result the savings
