As SLB IT Service Desk Analyst I’m responsible for remotely & simultaneously resolving IT
related issues reported through Phone / Voice Mail / Email / Web Chat by French / English and
Arabic speaking users .
With a sophisticated and continuously growing infrastructure ; I have gained experience in
treating issues for Active Directory User and Computer Migration between Domain Controllers and
Forests and how it may or may not affect Enterprise Desktop client applications such Credant
Data Protection , Autonomy Data Disaster Recovery , McAfee ePO ,Forfront Endpoint
Protection as well as other SLB specific applications.
I have been familiar with Multiple Microsoft terms such as Outlook & , SCCM , MOC

I had good understanding of synchronizations between SAP , LDAP , Active Directory and how it
affects user access to specific applications.

Juniper , VSAT and how it may limit access to Local applications and Servers .
I have been dealing with issues related to Cisco IP Telephony HW & SW for Mobile laptops ,and

Job Description & Acquired Experience
OBS Integrates to it’s MPLS Core /Backbone Network a Ready Made Solutions developed by
PTT/Telco companies , Cisco , Juniper , Riverbeds, Microsoft in order to implement and operate
a customized tailored services to it’s customers LBE.
As a Network Engineer I had been responsible for monitoring failure of any network element /
device , perform the primary diagnostics to check the responsible party of the fault if it’s OBS or
Vendor or Customer responsibility.
Direct contact with Vendors to chase for service restoration within OBS – Vendor SLA , ensure
OBSCustomer SLA is achieved .
Perform Hard loop and Soft loop Testing for Leased Lines with PTT & Responsible for remote tests
and diagnostics of Network devices , part ordering and RMA .
Arranging with Vendors for Technician field visit on Customer Site and/or PartS Delivery
Remotely Assisting both OBS and Vendor Technicians on Customer/OBS/Vendor Sites and
confirm with customer that service is restored and ensure First Visit Resolution.
Service Transition support , confirm customer acceptance test prior to service delivery .
Problem Management for chronic issues ,recommending action plans and follow up
to resolution .
Multi Clients support ; of Large Business Enterprises among which : Swiss Re , The World
Bank Group , Sanofi – Aventis. CMA CGM. Flow Serve, Zumbtobel and more ……
