Working for a green field CDMA Operator called Sasatel, Is a new operator in Tanzania launched six months back providing voice and data solutions for Tanzanian market. I have many responsibilities ranging from Managing products from conception to completion according to Product Life Cycle Process and project management, applications engineering, information technology, and cellular technology. Proven ability to learn complex technologies quickly and effectively apply new knowledge, launch and manage new products to support corporate strategy. Detailed oriented with strong problemsolving, excellent customer management and multitasking skills, communication, and teamwork skills.

I am continuously developing new product ideas and business cases, and present these concepts for approval to the management team and increase revenue by proactively driving customer issues to closure, removing obstacles preventing the product from going to production. I also validate product concepts and roadmap with a diverse customer base and reviewing with engineering team and ensuring that product features align with market requirements.

I am developing user manuals, guides, other materials to engage customers and train Sasatel sales staff and prepare customer product booklets such as product briefs, data sheets, presentation material, roadmap, etc.

Sept to Feb . INVAS Specialist, Zanzibar Telecommunications ZANTEL, Tanzania. 

Working for a mobile operator company .I am tasked to maintain all the Value Added Services Nodes like SMSC Short Message Service Center, NMS Number Management System, MMSMultimedia Messaging Service, OTAOver the Air Programming, Voice Mail and Miss Call Alert Service, USSD Unstructured Supplementary Service Data,

Roam Salute, RBT Ringer back tone, MDSP Mobile Data Service Platform, WISGWireless Integrated Service Gateway infrastructures. This work enables the company to aggressively and rapidly expand its domestic and international operations and increase the diversity and quantity of large scale of subscribers into Zantel network and generate more revenue to the organization. 

Furthermore, I am also responsible for the application and services function within the were company which is concerned for following the product life cycles for projects. December to September , Information System Assistant, DaresSalaam, Tanzania. 

Working with American Embassy, I was actively involved with the standardisation of the organization IT operations and infrastructure. This has been brought about due to the rapid and uncontrolled expansion of the organization. Within both the data centre and offices I am responsible for providing a secured corporate infrastructure to run services and support all employees and their IT requirements.  This ranges from office administration to the provision of telecommunication services.  This responsibility takes on an international perspective because of the dispersed geographic location of the organization’s offices. 

I was also actively involved with the launch and subsequent operation of Intranet Portal. My involvement ranged from designing and developing key areas of the portal site to the building of a highly redundant and scalable data centre and its subsequent operation and administration. 

Moreover, working as a main liaison between the mission employees and the Local Internet Service Provider ISP for Internet access at the employee’s homes. And coordinate the work of the Local ISP provider in order to ensure that the users have access to the internet in a manner consistent with the reliability stipulated in the contract. I also was closely monitoring the service and installations completed by the contractor and trouble shoot problems as they arise and also negotiated the service contracts with the internet service provider ISP. 

Lastly, within the organization I undertook various tutorial and lecturing roles concerning the Information Systems and Technology courses.  I also conducted Microsoft office trainings concerning information use within organisations and its impacts upon organisational behaviour which resulted in the development of an Organisational Information Resource System model of information processing theory. I developed a web based computer forms called “Work Order System”.  

I was Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of costeffective training and support solutions that are designed to provide improved productivity, streamlined operations, and faster access to critical information. Implement effective customer satisfaction strategies by identifying and eliminating the root causes of customer problems. 

February to December , Network Engineer, Tanzania.

I undertook various running projects for Satcom Networks Africa Ltd, Supervised Network Engineers making up the Network Engineering Group, which was responsible for maintaining the network, turning up new customers, and planning for future growth. And delegated ownership of longterm projects, reviewing work, and tracking progress.

I have coordinated scheduled time off, to assure the department was appropriately staffed at all times, and scheduled oncall hours for handling escalations from the Network Operations Center. Generated monthly progress reports to the Chief Technical Officer and to the Development and Engineering department.

I have provided Sales Engineering during sales presentations for highrevenue customers. Worked closely with the Director of Network Engineering and the Director of Provisioning to implement a maintenance window and develop configuration review procedures, resulting in a substantial improvement of the network's uptime. Generated reports of all router configuration changes made across the network on a daily basis, and procedures to reconcile those changes with proposed configurations which had been approved to be implemented during the maintenance window.

I had deployed a largescale HSRP solution to improve the uptime of colocation customers, in the event a core became unreachable. , I assisted the System Administrators in their task of maintaining the company's Unix servers and workstations.

September to January , System Engineer, Computer Center,Tanzania.

Working for Computer and Network Consultants I was tasked to Administer Microsoft Windows Servers Active Directory, Microsoft Workstations, and network security devices for clients. Lowered spam by % using firewall filtering with realtime spam black lists for incoming email. Set up offsite users to work virtually, saving money annually in office leases.
