    Company Profile:

    The organization is the largest facility management company in the United Arab Emirates. It is partly owned by ALDAR Properties, the largest property development group in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. ARIIFM is currently contracted to provide facility management for the Yas Island Development Project . The facility management project includes managing an onsite accommodation complex for occupants and the provision of cleaning and waste management services for the recently completed Yas Marina Formula Circuit.

    Duties covered:

  • T he general coordination of the processes being implemented by the organisation for the achievement of the objectives of its environmental management plan.
  • Carrying out risk assessments for all the organisation’s significant aspects and to come up with a management program for the monitoring and abatement of the impacts of these aspects.
  • Waste management for the entire facility management project.
  • Implementation of spill response procedures in the event of spills occurring during the organisation’s operations
  • Coordination of postspill/contamination procedures and activities, e.g. land farming of polluted soil, bioremediation through anaerobic composting, safe disposal of hazardous chemicals, hydrocarbon contaminates wastes etc.
  • Overall HSE supervision function including oversight over subcontractors for the organisation in its operatives villages, including oversight over the company’s onsite waste water treatment plants.
  • Responsible for the implementation of all environmental, occupational health and safety training, awareness activities, etc.
  • Instituting all communication procedures both internal and external for all environmental issues on behalf of, and with the permission of the organisation.
