Developed spreadsheet to verify and validate all SDDs as a unified process instead of separate requirements in overarching Facility Design Description FDD.

    Resolved intricate production problem. Task of loading and unloading Merrick client’s tunnel furnace was complicated by radioactive dust fouling conveyor bearings. Introduced innovative solution of using chains with low friction plates linked to an automated mechanism to move trays in and out of the furnace. Saved $K.

    Introduced low cost solution to inefficiency problem. Only lbs. of hazardous material was hand loaded into drums designed to hold lbs. Modified lowcost, commercially available compactor for use in a sealed environment at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Reduced need from to drums per year.

    Improved cost efficiency by combining intersecting projects. Integrated $.M replacement of aging DuPont lab waste drain system with concurrent $M lab upgrade, eliminating mutual interferences. Combined separate work orders for different labs into a single project. Brought both projects in safely, on time and within budget.

    Automated inefficient, laborintensive manufacturing process. Conceived, designed, engineered, procured, installed and started up $M fully automated material handling system to move hundreds of containers weighing lbs. each in a / DuPont production environment. Completed project safely, on time and within budget.
